Look up an artist from the "Music" area on myspace and then click on the artist you want there should be a clickable button that says "Add" then click on it. Some myspace music sites might not have that option but most will. Good luck!

First you go onto myspace.com. After you log in, you click on music on the part that says 'Home | Browse | Search | Invite| Film|.." Ect. It's light blue and underneither the big navy blue Myspace.com thing at the very top. After you click on music, a page should come up with different type of muisc advertisements and whatnot on myspace. At the top left corner there should be something that says Search Artists and underneithe that Keyword:. You type in what band you would like to search for. Say you want to search for Hellogoodbye. You type in Hellogoodbye into the box. When you get search results, you'll probably want to click on the band name with the most song plays. They usually have the most popular songs. You click on the band name and that will send you to the band's myspace page. A big music player box will show on the righthand side of the band's myspace page. That box is filled with some different songs from the band. Say you're still searching Hellogoodbye. The box should have four different songs from the artist. Also say you want to put Here In Your Arms on your myspace. Where it says Here In Your Arms in the box, will say the number of plays beside it. Underneith that, It says Download | Rate | Comments | Lyrics | Add. If the words are black, it means you can do those things. If they are grey, you can't. If you would like to add the song to your myspace, you click Add. Next a page will come up asking you if you are sure you would like to add that song to your myspace. Click the button that says Add Song To Profile. Next a page will come up that says Here In Your Arms, by Hellogoodbye has been added to your profile! Or whatever song you choose. That is how you get music on your myspace! =D Hope that helps.

well you have to be somewhat familiar with myspace to understand how it works, but here you go:

1.above your picture, there is a line of buttons to choose from. it starts with 'home' and ends with 'classifieds'. somewhere between those 2 there is one that says 'music'.

2.click on 'music' and it should take you to myspace music and there will be a box that says "search artist"

3.enter the band/artist's name, then click search.
it will more than likely give you several results, but you can pick any of the band's sites.

4.at the top of their page, there should be a playlist containing 3 or 4 songs. find the song that you want and under the title there is a button that says 'add'.

5. click the 'add' button.

6. then it's going to say "Do you really want to add this song to your profile?" and ofcourse you should click "Add song to profile".

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

for future reference:

when you want a new song, just repeat the same procedure!

very easy. on the top there is a section that says myspace music. There are many categories you can choose from like artists, songs and albums or just type in the song you like. Then it will take you to the artists myspace. simply click on the song of many songs they have and it will say add to my page then before you know it your page will have it.

First You have to search for your favorite artist on myspace. You can do this but typing in the name of the artist in the white search bar. Make sure you scroll down...where the list is on the far right of the bar, until it says music. Then press enter. Once you find a "legit" site for the artist...for example :
http://sads.myspace.com//Modules/Search/Pages/Search.aspx?fuseaction=advancedFind.results&searchtarget=tms&searchtype=myspace&t=tms&get=1&websearch=1&searchBoxID=HeaderWebResults&searchString=Lilly+Allen&q=Lilly+Allen

i clicked the first title, and then i got this site:
http://www.myspace.com/lilymusic
To the right of themusic title in the white box, there will be a list of music...just click on the ADD link. If the ADD link is a light gray shade, this means that the artist is not allowing anyone to use their music at the moment. If the ADD link is black, that means you are allowed to use their music...

-For the webpage I used as an example, you are not allowed to use the music. : (

Okay. Go to the top of your page, to the bar that says "Home", go all the way to the right until you find "music", click on that, then, if you are looking for a particular artist, go to the bar under the "home" bar and click "directory", then type in whatever artist you want and click search. This will bring up a few things, no doubt, so just click on the first one.
It will look something like this: http://music.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music.search
When you click on one, they should have some of their music on their page : http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=42290578
If you find the song you want there, just look at it, and click "add", it will be on the right under the song title.
Myspace will ask you if you are sure you want this song, click yes, and then go back to the music profile or your own page, you're done!

P.S. If you don't find the song you want on the first page you try, go back and to the next page until you find it.
Good luck!!

Okay FIRST of all. If you start a music page and you are not licensed to do so, you will get deleted.

If you just want one song, go to any band's myspace page, click on a song, then click "add". It's very simple.

If you want multiple songs on your page, you need a "player". I have one on my page that's very easy to use. Go to my profile and click on the player, sign up (it's free), start searching for song and click on "add song". You can have up to 80 songs I think. Then when you feel you're done, there's an option for "add player to myspace". You click on that and get a HTML code to copy and paste.

Just click on my profile for the player!

when your on your myspace page, go to the music link at the top right of the screen. [it's in the same bar of links that 'home' is in.] and then when you're at the music page, search an artist you like. then when their page comes up, there will be a box on the right side of the screen with about 6 songs in it. and then you can preview the songs and when you found the one you want, click the add button next to that song. and then it will confim with you that you want to add the song to your profile, and tada.
