I can't remember a certain children's book-it basically chronicals a baby growing into a man, and his mother's love for him-even rushing to his house late at night to rock him to sleep, long after he's grown. He then has his own child. The message is repetitive, something like "you'll never know how much I love you." Something to that effect. It's a great book, very sentimental in nature.

Love You Forever by Robert Munsch
It's a really touching story. If that's the one, the grown up man rocks his mother at the end.

The first answerer almost has it right, but the actual title is "Love You Forever" by Robert N. Munsch (no "I'll" in the title). You can buy copies here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0929668372/24680e-20
