YOU NEED TO INSTALL THE DRIVES off the disc that came with the printer or go to lexmark site copy and paste the link below it will take you to the drive download copy and paste it all

You can go to lexmark web site and download the drivers for your lexmark and that's one way I know that works.

Go to lexmark .com or find lexmark website and select and download the driver software for your operating system and printer model you are trying to install and follow instuctions .Good luck

you are needing an instalation disc that needs to be downloaded before adding the printer if you have lost it look on the lexmark website for your model and you are looking for the drivers this is what the disc contains
click on this link and choose the xp link

make sure u install the drivers b4 u connect it to your PC ... if u have connected it already then u have to uninstalll it and install the drivers 1st ...
