Well I know in NY if you are under 21 they have a zero tolerance law. So if you are driving with more then a .02 level on the breathalyzer (the regular level is .08) you are automatically arrested, your license is taken away (many times until you are 21) ... you then have to take a drinking driver program which is a counseling informational class that lasts about 6 or 8 weeks. You may qualify for a conditional license to drive to school, work, and medical appointments/counseling. How does this affect the state? Even though there is a fee to the person convicted but the state also funds these programs which means more taxes. Also think about the lack of experience young drivers have, and then the added disability of having alcohol in your system ... leads to very dangerous driving circumstances.

It has only effected me because of them the insurance rates have gone up. Other than that its fun when you see a drunk driver on the road, you go up to them and move them off the road and into a tree or ditch. Maybe simply by raming the back of their car, or taping the side of their car with yours. But whatever you do dont drive away, stay there, call the police.

When they arrive you explain how they were driving all over the road and they clipped your car while not paying attention. Hey theyre drunk, the police are going to believe you, not some drunk piece of ****. If anything atleast you will feel better that you helped out saving an innocent life somewhere.

nicely Im from the Midwest and prefer everybody beverages on the bar and then drives living house, no enormous deal to them. the adolescents round here are loopy too, maximum start up eating and seventh grade and then get progressivly worst all for the period of extreme college and faculty. we've injuries round right here each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, someone from the area also ran over someone even as they were below the effect of alcohol and the man died because they did not even end and communicate to 911. i in my opinion do no longer drink, volume a million because its over-rated and volume 2 because i'm no longer of age and it in simple terms feels lame to be an underage drinker even even if beer is continuously accessible to us. Ugh, I also hate that pretend lame excuse "there is no longer something to do round right here" like get a life and get a activity. procuring beer for activities from older people expenditures more advantageous than going to the movie or going bowling.

For starters, over 40% of accident-related fatalities are due to teenage drinkers.

When sober, teenagers can be annoying and disrespectful...when drunk, they are dangerous, aggresive and totally out-of-control. Drinking can seriously damage the not-yet-fully developed teen brain.

How does this effect me? Just like the other drunk drivers on the road. They are a danger on the roads and highways. They are a danger on a street corner, in a restaurant....

I have a teen driver. It affects my fear that he will die in a crash related to alcohol. He has many friends we love dearly and we have friends that also have teen drivers. It affects all of us. It has the potential to affect anyone that is on the streets at the same time they are.
