Honestly it comes off as arrogant to assume that when someone is simply being curteous (since it is church),that it means they are flirting. To me flirting would be seductive words and dress not a simple smile. I get so sick of Christians seeing things in a more twisted way than the world does. What is wrong with people????

What kind of church are you talking about. I've been a Christian all of my life and no one has ever told me that smiling is deviant and I've never heard of anyone thinking that way. I'm not saying that there isn't a church out there that believes this , but even if you heard this from a christian , it doesn't give you the right to lump us all in the same category. All the Christians I know smile a great deal and they believe it's a good thing. As non- Christians keep telling us: stop being JUDGMENTAL.

what's wrong with you? Honestly come on grouping every christian into your stereotypical version of them? I'm not a christian but the ones I know have nothing in common with your discription, What is wrong with people is that they do just what you are doing-group and stereotype, That's why we have racism and all the other related "diseases" floating around today.

Are you gay.........if so you need to find another church, one of which is more open and accepting to your "lifestyle" if you are not gay then just who is it that you are smiling at and making them freak out? I'd like to know more........
