anyone know a link online to check my credit status ie to see if i have out standing debts etc??? or where or how do i find it out???

Annualcreditreport.com. You get the big three for free once a year with the exception of Equifax sometimes. Seems they're above the law when they feel like it.

Experian http://www.creditexpert.co.uk They are currently doing a 30day free trial.. Its an excellent service, and they are really helpful with correcting your account!
They also give you a credit score as well, in relation to the general UK public, which is also very useful..!!
