In the UK ...the process is complete by that time. You have the stated number of days to vacate.

I know when we lived in Florida and we needed to evict someone we would have to make sure they were more than 30 days past due and then go to the local sheriffs office and they would serve the eviction notice and would remove the personnel at a specified time. This can change by state or even jurisdiction.

Eviction procedures vary from state to state. The courts are usually only involved when the person being evicted fights it.

If the eviction notice is official, you have a month to vacate the premises. Otherwise, the bailiffs will come and forcibly evict you.
