I think Benny Hill was one of the funniest men who ever lived. He stole almost all of his material from other comedians, but that didn't matter. His facial expressions, witty songs and crazy sight gags made The Benny Hill Show one of the greatest variety shows of all time.
A lot of people are down on him for having scantily clad women on his show, they think he exploited these women or that he was a pervert...to these people I say, watch the show closely. You will notice that these women made a joke out of him. They were unattainable beauties and Benny was always the butt of the joke. He wasn't exploiting them, he gave them all the power in his sketches...they always had the upper hand. Benny was always the victim.

I haven't watched him in years....outgrew him a long time ago...
when I was a little kid I wanted to be a writer for the benny hill show when I grew up - that or a member of KISS....

Yes,because it reminds me of my Dad , who has been gone now for almost 5 years. He used to watch it all the time when I was a kid. I miss the hell out uf my Dad , but I 've only seen the show once lately, and until then , didn't even know it was still on . Yes , it's a bit much for regular T.V. and I personally could take it or leave it !

I used to watch his show when I was younger. I thought he was stupid, but I liked watching the show for other reasons. I was a teenage boy...you can figure out why I liked it.

No I have never liked him, I think he was kind of pervy in a disgusting old man kind of way.
