I know i sound crazy but it has happened to me and i'm just wondering am I alone!

I just got one. I was asking for advice for something that is going on with my father who had a stroke and is going in for heart surgery this week. She was really RUDE to me. Uncalled for.

no you're not alone i get the same happening to me i get abusive answers for nothing for just asking a question even though its a nice and simple question or even for just a laugh i still get the abuse even though there is no need.. I think there are too many nasty people in this world no wonder why there are so many wars because people just can't accept each other and that is sad.

I don't think you're alone. Some sad people go out of their way to be objectionable. I think we all take the risk of this when we post a question here. I don't mind amusing answers even if they're not what I was asking, but abusive ones are horrible. My view is if you can't say something useful or funny, don't say anything at all.

No its happened to me tons of times, I answered a question a few days ago, the person didn't like my answer and today they had gone to one of my questions I had already picked best answer for, and left a comment for me calling me a B1 tch.
No it does not hurt my feelings, I just find it a bit bizarre how strange some people can act.
The good people on here make up for the bad, so to hell with the person that upset you.
You just stay here with us and we'll look after you.

I try not to take things too seriously but it can be annoying. Some people are mean. If I give a really nice detailed answer to a question theres usually someone who will give it a thumbs down. I asked a question about baby names a few weeks ago and somone suggested "prick" or "cu*t" Their idea of a joke I suppose. Some people hey!!

I have had some abusive and one really creepy/hostile answer (actually it did not even make sense). I did notice, though that the creepy answer person no longer appears in Yahoo answers, so maybe he got reported a lot, and dropped out/got kicked off. And, no, it does not hurt my feelings. I just find these people hostile/juvenile. This is just for fun/stress relief. When people act like this, it means they never grew up, so please don't let it hurt your feelings.

Not many. I had one person who tried very hard to, just because my answer contradicted his. I was told how stupid I was and that I was a wannabe. Too bad for him I got Best Answer! There are quite a few of this type of person on here it seems. Ignore them most people are lovely. If it`s really bad report them, I`m sure there are other people who have had the same answers from them.

I've gotten abusive answers but I just realized the people who gave the answer were emotionally unstable with severe problems in their life. It just makes me feel sorry for them and makes me wonder why they haven't been removed already.

Not meaning to be abusive, but are you serious? This is the freakin' internet. Every as shole on the planet get's to spew out vitriole with impunity. You don't know these people, including me, and our answers can actually upset you? Now that's a study in human behavior for the asking; wish I were still in school with a psych or soc project to do.

I havn't myself but I answered a question about what to do with deceased ashes, as this person was told the ashes contain wood and could spoil your garden, and somebody laughed and said "who was he, pinnochio?" I thought that was horrible!!
I'm sorry about your abusive answer, theres no need for it!!
