I'm against abortion but if,for example,a father,thug,criminal,you name it rapes your daughter,mother,little girl,etc. How can you keep that fetus?

i believe its all in that person's feelings. I do think that all children are a blessing to have but I also believe that if it happened to me, I would not want to keep it.

I feel that abortion is wrong. The rapist should be punished, not the baby. If someone feels that they cannot keep the child because of the memories, then there is always adoption. Why pile the possible feelings of guilt from having an abortion on a woman who is already having to deal with the tramatic emotions of being raped?

I don't think she should automatically abort. My aunt was raped at 11 years old. This was about 42 years ago. The man that raped her was her uncle; my grandmother's brother. Her son, my cousin is now 43. I've never once heard her say that she regrets keeping her son. I guess some people are just strong enough to love a child no matter how that child came to be.

I believe that that is a personal choice and a lot of times after a rape if a woman goes to the doctor they will give her a morning after pill so that there is no chance of pregnancy. If for some reason she does become pregnant she can always give the baby up for adoption, it isn't the babies fault that the daddy was a creep.

Well, if you go to the hospital after getting raped, they will prescribe you Plan B if you ask for it. So you shouldn't ever have to make that decision. I personally wouldn't abort the baby if for some reason Plan B didn't work, but I woudn't look down on another woman if she did because I understand it would be a difficult time and difficult decision.

Abortion is killing a human life so no, abortion would not be the answer. As many people have said before, adoption is always an option, especially if the girl that was raped cannot raise a baby for one reason or another

Think of it as a child... Not a fetus. Gives you a different perspective! The Innocent child should not have to die because of the wrong doing of one man. It is not going to make the situation any less painful. Adoption would be an option if necessary, but definitely not death.

A good friend of mine is what you could call, "a daughter of rape", but her mother kept her, and she is now known, by what she IS called, "a daughter of love."
It is not how you are made, it's how you are raised, and ultimately, who you become.
NO person should have the right to snuff a life simply because of "bad memories". That life, or that fetus, is completely innocent and should not be punished for the sins of the thug/criminal/father. It's life should be its own.
In addition, I never would have had my best friend growing up and she never would have blessed her mother with two beautiful grandchildren.
Now our kids play together.
Think about that....

A friend of mine was concieved through rape, her mother wanted to keep her because eventhough people said it is a constant reminder of what had happened her mother agreed that she was apart of her... this is a true story, my friend felt for years the guilt of what had happened to her mother, and how she came about.... but it just depends on each person and what their decision is at the end of the day.

the only way i would say to abort the baby if they rape is if the baby had some kind of sickness like hiv or would come out mentally disable cuz y would u want ur child to suffer when it wasnt the babys or mother fault its not fair to none of them

itd be hard im assuming, but im completely against abortion, it may be hard for the person, and if you aren't able to keep the baby/ and bluntly dont want it, give birth to it, but put the baby up for adoption, dont kill a human, some people/couples want babies, and can't even have them.
bu thats just my oppinion.. haha
