Okay. im awfully curious- I keep seeing postes from canadians who arrogantly think Canada is better than USA- What a laugh- America has FREEDOM. a strong military, a superior eduaktional system, international respect, etc.
Canda is a socialist state where you wait years to see a doctor- Canada is like one giant massachusetts- they tolerate gays marrying and let people smoke reefer. If they beleived in freedom they would BAN those things.
Canadians drive American cars and use American products,which is proof they want to be like the USA- yet they are a communist socialist state- I have never been to canda, and will never go- why bother, the eskimos can have the place..
What does canada have America lacks- other than no freedom, vietnam and Iraq war draft dodgers, an arctic climate, a weak military, no international respect , Motreal strippers and socialism ? Why would any American want to live in Canada? They would lose all thier freedoms!

In WW2 The Canadian Paratroopers were some of the most feared in the world.
A superior "edukational" system? I'm from the US - It is EDUCATIONAL! Idiot.

First of all, Canada is a democratic state, not socialist. Our educational system is excellent. When I went to an American university, they gave me my first year as done because of the fact that I came from the Canadian educational system. Next, Just because we have gay marriage, doesn't mean that we don't have freedom. Yes, we do drive American cars, but many of them are made in Canadian plants. Next, we don't have a strong military because we don't have many enemies, whereas America does. We have plenty of international respect and are not Communist. By the way, Communism and dictatorship are 2 different things. Please get your terms straight.
To answer your question "What does Canada have that America lacks?". Good beer, fresh water, massive oil reserve potential, a superior educational system, 4 seasons, a huge tourism base, and a great land base.
If you are going to bash Canada, please get your facts straight first. Then find out why things are the way they are. I love my country and I love the U.S.A. too. I hope, someday, that you can understand where our country stands on many issues and how we work. We are not America, just like Ireland is not the U.K. We're different countries and cultures.

Canada has a lot that the u.s hasent got,specially a decent government.also Canadians dont want to be like Americans Canada is a colany of Britain,oh yeah Canada may have a weak army but they certainly helping your boys out in Afghanistan.and why would they need a strong army ?they have there place in the British Commonwealth of nations.they have Britain by there side for life.the Canadians may be posting stuff up like that mainly because theres always some moron posting up about how America is better then everyone else.but you Will be surprised.

You really have no idea what is going on do you?
Firstly Canada has a higher per capital population of post secondary educated students, coincidentally who can spell education.
Marijuana is not legal in Canada, and yes Canada recognizes the rights of gays to marry as there is nothing forbidding it in the Charter of rights and Freedoms.
At the same point how can you condemn a country for not being free and then list liberties that you yourself do not have.
The wonderful thing about Canada is there are no such thing as free speech zones If you would like to burn a flag on Parliament hill, you are welcome to.
As for the health care system, there have been a host of misconception propagated by the media. The fat of the matter is that until you have dealt with the heath care system in Canada you have no grounds to critique it. The facts are that Canadians enjoy and average of 2 year longer life expectancy and lower infant mortality. That leads me to believe they are doing something right.
As for the Canadian military, how dare you disrespects the Noble Canadian men and women who are putting their lives on the line in Afghanistan. The Canadians military albeit small compared the the USA is comprised of very highly trained men and women, who demonstrate excellence in the field.
I am seriously hoping this question was orchestrated to get a response as you made a couple very pointed errors.

Canada is a very nice country and I think it's right there with the US. However it has some glaring flaws like a screwed up health care system (that the Dumbacrats want here) and the fact that they took everyones guns away (Except the criminals and the government that will use them against the unarmed public soon)

For instance did you know in Canada most people dont have to lock their doors because of an extremely low crime and murder rate?
