I am 39 weeks according to one doctor and 40 weeks according to another doctor, this is my first pregnancy and I have no clue what to expect.. Today there is suppose to be a full moon so I hope that I am in labor.. Well I woke up at 8 this morning with menstrual like cramps I laid on the couch and feel asleep, well I woke up and started folding laundry and started feeling the cramps again they are mostly in my lower back and then at the top of my legs and a little down you know were.. They tend to hit me more when I sit than when I stand, I took a hot shower and I am still cramping.. I can't keep count cause it a constant pain and well the baby hasn't moved much except his head which really hurts... Could I be in labor or not.. I have been constipated and I have no desires cleaning what so ever I just want to be lazy.. Whats wrong with me??

When I first went into labor with my son, my water broke and I had no pain. After a little while, I had a dull ache in my back. I never had regular contractions. If you are feeling pain, go see your doctor or the ER, they will be able to tell you whats going on and point you in the right direction. Good luck!!

All my contractions were in my back, that sounds like what I had. You need to time them to see how often they are coming. I know I went to bed one night when they were 10 minutes apart then when I woke up the next morning they were about 6-7, after a couple hours they became 4-5 minutes apart so I called my doctor went to the hospital and had my daughter 7 hours later. So time them and call once they get to 4-5 minutes apart, your doctor should of told you that already.

Well im also 39 weeks, and i feel the same cramps i think its just pressure from the baby's head, but if your having back pains then those are contractions. Call your doctor and let them know whats going on
Theres a possibility you could be, but my doctor told me i wasn't and sent me back home
Good luck

not really. You can have those paints for WEEKS before going into labor. Trust me- when you are in real labor- there will be no question about pains and that you actually are in labor. YYou will be able to count/time them when they actually happen- because when you get actual labor pains you will have stop instantly stop whatever you're doing and breath through them and you won't be able to talk during them.

Every bit of my labor was in my back. I didn't realize I was in labor, I thought I just had back strain. If it persists, get to the doctor or hospital. Good luck and Congratulations!

That was the only labor I felt with one of my children, you may want to go to the doctor to be checked. I will tell you it was the easiest birth I had.

It's a good possibility but if you want to be sure go see your dr. The way I knew I was going to deliver my baby was when I went to use the rest room and when I wiped myself I noticed a little blood.
