Same here. If I feel they're genuine then I'm like "you've got the wrong number" other wise I'm like - "NOOOOO S\HE IS NOT HERE"

My Wrong Number Convo's are typically as follows:
Me: Hello???
Caller: Is Jane there?
Me: I'm sorry, I think you must have the wrong number?
Caller: Oh, okay, sorry.
Me: It's okay, have a great day!
BUT, there was once a person who called nearly every day, spoke only spanish and continously left LONG messages on my machine....I got so pissed off that I finally answered it and told them (in spanish) that the person did not live here and to never call my phone again.

I'm polite the first 2 times they call and then I start to get a lil annoyed. I have better things to do than answer the phone all day.

I am usuall polite but depending on whether i'm in a pretty good mood, or in the middle of something when the phone rings. Then I can be pretty rude.

I am polite. It is not intentional on their part to call the wrong number.
I will even call someone back and let them no they had the wrong number if they leave a message. I would hate for them to think the other person was refusing to call them.

I'm not rude to them because I won't want them to be rude to me if I accidental called a wrong number. We all make mistakes and it happens. I'm polite to them because I treat people how I'd want to be treated.

I'm polite the first time, but after that "Why the heck are you calling me?" Unless it's an old person, they can't help that they're losing their minds.

I'm polite to them as long as they don't give me a reason to be rude.
