try diy.com. They have alot of projects & plans. They may have mailboxes too.

Be warned that the post office wants a space big enough to take the mail and keep it dry. They don't want to play games finding how to open the box or getting the door shut when they are done. If you are doing anything elaborate, you might want to check there plans with the USPS

Try your hardware store as they may have some there you can buy. Also craft stores may be able to help ya. If you want to try it on your own its not hard just have a little faith. Good luck.
