I think you should see someone when you are ready. You will know when it feels appropriate. Before you do so, now is the right time for you to choose the right Practitioner. Ideally, you should visit a Birthcentre which encourages natural Births, before putting yourself in a more "medicalised" environment, which seems to multiply the complication factor. Without a doubt, Women whose Births are "medicalised" end up having a lot more complications than those who accept their new Feminine Status serenely, among Doctors and Midwives who are experienced in the techniques of preserving a Woman's Genitalia. Perhaps, you should make this quest sooner than later.

Most doctors dont see a woman until after the 9th week...But as soon as u find out your pregnant make an appointment, they will ask u how far along u think u are and they will determine when to get u seen going by the dates...I didnt get seen with my son until I was 10 weeks..With this pregnancy I called the doc at 13 weeks *i hadent seen a doc yet* and they got me in there in less then 2 weeks...Good Luck!

You should go see your dr as soon as you find out that you are pregnant. You should do this to be sure that the fetus is developing as it should be, and to make sure there aren't any complications, and also so you can begin taking your vitamins to ensure the healthiness of the child!

You should call and make an appointment immediately. They probably won't see you for a few weeks. They tend to wait until you're 6-8 weeks, but you should call and get the appointment made.
