As the U.S. surge in Iraq turns the tide, will angry leftists try to be rational and hope the U.S. wins?

I read today that the surge has already started to stamp out violence. That's good news, since only 2 out of the extra 5 brigades have been sent so far. Will leftists look at the facts on the ground or continue to wallow in their doom and gloom attitudes?

As an Australian i have had no doubt that the US and the Allied Forces will win.
You see the bad guy always gets his come uppance.
and we are not the bad guy.

They will be beside themselves with fury and frustration. A success for the Bush administration will goad them to even more irrational and heinous efforts to sabotage efforts to defend our country from the terrorists.
