Start wars with other countries on false pretenses!

Breakdown the countries Govt. via covert activities.

Investigate domestic terrorism 411 days after its occurrence.

Sow seeds of terror among the public.
Point guns at people and tell them they are free and living in a democratic country.

Steal another countries natural resources.

Is that democracy?

It's why I left the republican party.

Congratulations on leaving the terrorist republican party.

They remind me of the IRA ( Irish Republican Army) Which has the same terrorist views as republicans here at home.

I personally beleive that not everyone deserves to live in this great nation and republicans should not be allowed to continue to live in America unless they denounce terror. They are yet to do this and our brave troops die everyday because of their lies

The Republican view of democracy is that there is an election and the "right' people win.
That is the way they are going about "creating" democracy in Iraq and it just won't work!

Firstly, we don't live in a democracy, we live in a republic threaded with some democratic ideals. Here is the difference between a republic and a democracy:

"Republic: Authority is derived through the election, by the people, of public officials best fitted to represent them. Attitude toward property is respect for laws and individual rights, and a sensible economic procedure. Attitude toward law is the administration of justice in accord with fixed principles and established evidence, with a strict regard to consequences. A greater number of citizens and extent of territory may be brought within its compass. Avoids the dangers of either tyranny or mobocracy. Results in statesmanship, liberty, reason, justice, contentment and progress. - U. S. Army training manual, 1928

"Democracy: a government of the masses. Authority derived through mass meetings or any form of direct expression, which results in mob-ocracy. Attitude towards property is communistic, negating property rights. Attitude towards the law is that the majority shall regulate, whether it be based upon deliberation or governed by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraint or regard to consequences. Results in demagogism, license, agitation, discontent, and anarchy." - U. S. Army training manual, 1928.

To respond to your other points...

- I don't believe we entered the Iraq WAR (don't pluralize war because it's all one War on Terror) on false pretenses. The administration and a bi-partisan Congress both overwhelmingly approved the war based on the same intelligence- that there were WMD's in Iraq. Though we didn't find any in Iraq (I personally believe they were moved to another country, but that's neither here nor there), we did achieve a huge humanitarian victory. An evil, oppressive dictator who methodically killed millions because of their religious beliefs is gone and every day, our peace keeping forces come closer to turning the full government and military operations over to the Iraqis.

- I'm not sure what you mean by "Breakdown the countries Govt. via covert activities." Please specify and I will respond to it.

- The U.S. government fully investigated 9/11 days after it happened. That process is still ongoing. What took 411 days was an investigation of all of the conspiracy laden oddities that people propose up to this day. Those claims are also refuted daily, though they keep them under investigation.

- As for "sowing seeds of terror among the public," I was under the impression that the terrorists who bombed our country on 9/11 and who kill our troops in Iraq every day are doing that. Can that really be blamed on Bush, the guy who is fighting them?

- I've never had a gun pointed at me while I was told I'm living in a democratic country, but if you are referring to the Iraqis, the only people who intentionally have guns pointed at them are people who attack the troops or people who could potentially pose a threat to the troops while conducting house to house searches. The troops are told not to fire unless fired upon.

- As for stealing natural resources from Iraq, we get about 566 thousand barrels of oil per day from purchase. The US imports a total of 9.623 million barrels per day. The amount that we purchase from Iraq is so marginal, that it isn't even worth considering, especially since it is on the record that the oil is paid for at international standard prices.

I think you should reconsider your views. Don't come back to the republican party, but keep your mind openm to any candidate in the next election. Just make sure you do your research. I hope I helped.
