of the republicans. Let's not forget that little thing called Presidential Veto, which they will never override. So again I ask, why are the liberals getting the blame for everything under the sun when it's President Bush's ball and it's in his court?

It's called spin. That's all it is. The American people in general are aware that Congress has its hands tied - and they will not forget who tied those hands when they vote in Nov. '08.

I think we are spending too much time arguing with each other and trying to segregate each other based on political party. If EVERYONE got together, we could do great things for our country. It is always easier to sit on our badunkadunks and yap about what everyone else is not doing and cast blame and even come up with fancy "LIEberal" tags. What venom, some of us have! This negative energy surely cannot be good for your health! Get off your butt and do something. Encourage others by example. And stop with the immature babble of what can't be fixed right now...fix what can be fixed, be good to others, and spend that great energy you have making a difference instead of speaking about it. Actions speak louder than words.
"Peace"-out?!

You're right, of course, but you do realize that there is a fairly small percentage of extremists at both ends of the political spectrum who are invested in continuing the polarization in our country. I'm not sure what they get out of it other than the feeling of being right and making others wrong.

I believe that unless we elect a president in 2008 who can ACTUALLY be a uniter and help us find our common ground, we as a nation will not be able to solve the problems we are facing.

It is because it is not just the Liberals in congress that is causing all the trouble. You have the Leftist Elitist Liberal Media that causes most of the problems. In congress the democrats do have a majority,if they could unite together they can pass legislation, fortunately they keep squabbling amongst themselves so they can't pass what they would like too.

It's the "I know you are but what am I" strategy. It's most effective. Everything just bounces off the accused and goes back on the accuser.

Because most of the ills in America are caused by liberals.
Like what's on the news right now. There plenty of things libs could be doing to make America better instead of worrying about Valerie Plame or some fired U.S attorneys.

The LIEberals promised UNCONDITIONALLY that certain things would be done within the first 100 days.....they haven't...they did NOT say if the GOP cooperates...They did NOT say unless GW doesn't VETO...They exactly said they would pass them whether GW liked it or not. WELL THEY ARE DOING NOTHING....

The LIEberals plan

Whine...Complain...DO NOTHING... blame others....
