Go to the google homepage, then go to Tools, then Internet Options, then go to the General Tab, and click on Use Current. then go down and click Apply, and then Ok..

Open your browser and navigate to www.google.com. On the Internet Explorer menu go to tools-Internet options and select the Use current button at the top of the dialog box--just below where it says homepage. The actual wording may be different depending on which version of INternet Explorer you're using. Version 7 is highly recomended if you don't have it. It will keep other programs from hijacking your home page and is much more secure. Go to help-about menu in IE to check the version.

Your system may also be infected with Spyware or adware which is why your homepage was changed.

what's the Web Browser that you are using?

Internet Explorer:
just go to the page you wish to start and once you there click in the Menu : Tool > Internet options > the very first textbox have 3 buttons below it, one says: Use current (after clicking on it you will see the Web Address in the textbox) after that, click Apply and then OK, shutdown the browser and open it again.

Firefox:
The same but the Menu says: Tools > Options > and in general tab (1st one) click the same, and then OK.

hope it helps :-)

P.S. if after a windows shutdown/restart you get the same anoying pages when start the browser, then you have a more serious problem, you have Spyware/Adware, just download from the web a free tool and clean your system (Spy Boot, Lavasoft Adware are quite good)

You didn't say "what" browser you are using! Does make a diff.
You say you "downloaded" starwall...sounds to me you have installed Spyware on top of it!
Man...On just about any browser...Tools, Internet Options (or Options) , then change the address in the box to http://www.google.com/
But, if the next time you start your browser and it's reset to Starwall, then you've installed spyware and or a browser Hijacker and will have to deal with that using a antispyware program like Spybot Search & Destroy.

calm down

It is extremely simple. If you have IE, which i assume you do, close out. Then right click on the logo, click properties. Then change the address in the address bar to http://www.google.com
