Actually, I hired Asians over white folks all the time in the computer industry. We would actually compete for some of those special work visas each year and ship 'em over from China. It pains me to say I had a hard time finding Americans who were not only smart enough to do the work, but would do it at a price the company could afford. Besides, nothing beats the thrill of having one of your staff toss off an email to a coworker that reads "Why you be stupid? File is on server!"

Depends on the country you are in. Some places are not only racists but shadists. Meaning they discriminate on shades of dark, ie they wont put a person in a position where they have to deal with many people because they are the wrong shade.
I think, however, that if you are a presentable person, speak the language well and have good references, in the end you will find a good position.
Good luck.

If I had to choose between you and a circus monkey for a job, i choose the latter, at least he wouldn't be asking dumb *** questions like that. I know plenty of black people that have been given jobs that they have no idea what they are doing and don't care if they learn as long as they make that easy money. And you've just proved to the world that you'd rather make problems than help solve them.

No matter who starts a new job, they need to be retrained.
All worksites are diversified.
Anyone can go to college and get any job they want--based on the unemployment rate, only.

Unfortunately, there are still a lot of shady untrustworthy folks out there. As long as we ignore evil, it will continue to seep through every crevice and mold itself to the minds of those who would choose race over intellect!

Certain groups of people are more likely to get certain jobs I think... like a gay man will get a job as an interior decorator versus a straight man... or a woman will get a job as a nanny versus guy.... Mexican over white for lawn/construction ...Indian over black person for tech support ....Asian women over white women to do nails..... WASP over black man for president.... blah blah blah

I'm sure a white person of the same experience as a member of a minority is more likely to get the job, becuase society hasn't learned yet.
