I have ATT Yahoo and I can use Google, but chose not to, but if you want Google to be your search engine, you have to to go "mysebsearch" and in the drop menu click "Change default search provider." But Yahoo search engine is the oldest and best and quite more extensive than Google -- the new kid on the block, much hyped. I've tried both and they come back with practically identical results, so why bother? Use what you have and avoid the hassle of switching.

A friend of mine has that same provider and a lot of the time if you just use your internet explorer instead of your yahoo browser, that might help. That seems very odd because google is affiliated with yahoo and it should work just fine. Try checking to see if maybe you have parental controls that are blocking it or your firewall is blocking it for some reason.
