I was living in San Francisco in the 60' there was an article on the newspaper about a woman going on a trip to China; she took her
adoring dog with her as she always did; however while in china
she asked someone at the hotel to
please feed her dog; so the helper took the dog; then she waited and waited; for her dog to reappeared; and when her dog re appeared, she was on a silver platter.
the lady became so hystoric.; she could not believed what have
happend to her adorable dog.
this was on the San Francisco newspaper in 1967.

Yes. Due to the environment and biome in which some asian countries are located, certain types of non domestic animals are rare or do not exsist.
In certain places in South America, natives consume tarantulas as a source of meat.

Yes, they eat dogs, and cats.........ive seen the video and I was truly upset.
In North Korea they eat rabbits too.
I also saw on the Discovery Channel that they catch sharks, cut off their fins and throw them back into the ocean and let them sink to the bottom and die.......all just so they can make fin soup :(

Cultures vary in universal gross outs. They also vary in starvation through out their histories. If one is hungry enough, anything remotely edible will do.
The Aborigines in Austrailia eat ants and beetles...because there often is nothing else around to eat.

Yes, they actually do eat dogs and in some cases they kill the poor things in a cruel, heartless manner and then use their fur for coats and clothing. Its sickening and sad.

I lived in Seoul, Korea and have seen dogs strung up and skinned outside of shops. They call it "kagolgi." Quite disturbing when you first witness it.
