I had a two day period this month that was about four days late. It started after I had sex with my husband. It only lasted for two days now it's gone. Does anyone have any advice for me and my husband?

There is still a possibility that you may be pregnant!!! One of my friends experienced the same thing you did, and she found out that she was like 3 or 4 weeks pregnant, when she went to the e.r.. Wait about another week or two and take another test. Just keep in mind, that at home pregnancy tests aren't 100% accurate. Good luck to you and best wishes!!

Buy a pregnancy test and take it. I have four children and with each one, I spotted blood for 2-3 days (longer with the first) at around the time my period was due. You CAN bleed and be pregnant. I also have had four miscarriages so I have pretty much covered the gamut of bleeding while pregnant.
You can have a false negative on a pregnancy test, so if it does come out negative, I'd see what happens next month, or if you start to feel different (nauseous, tired all the time, etc.), call your doctor and have them check you out.

If you're a healthy female who's between puberty and menopause, you could be pregnant.

Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean you are.

Your period was light, which could have been caused by a number of things like increase in excersize, change in diet, stress at work, etc....but if you're expiriencing any of the pregnancy symptoms (breast tenderness, irritability, fatigue, bloating, nausia (sp?), change in appitite, sensitivity to smell, etc) then I would consult a physician or take a pregnancy test.

Try not to stress out, too much worrying can indue pregnancy like symptoms.

Your best bet is to take the test and wait it out.

Spotting is one of the signs of pregnancy. However, a lighter than usual period could also be a result of stress, malnutrition, hormona imbalance, and various other ailments. Don't second guess this, either buy a pregnancy test or go to your gynecologist in order to find out for sure.

You could be... if your period was lighter and not quite so heavy... more like spotting... you could very well be. If it was your scheduled due time for your period, you might be able to take a test and see a negative and or a positive result. If not... I'd wait until your next due period and try a test again. If you are concerned I would try contacting your dr. to make a dr. related test for more accuracy. Good luck!

The only way to be sure is to get a pregnancy test or go to the doctor. How exciting. Good luck to you and your husband.

I don't think you are, but buy a test and find out for sure. Then speak to your doctor and ask why you are having a two day period.
good luck :-)

well you COULD be, but who knows. You really need to buy a test to find out. If you are not satisfied with the result or are questioning it or it is positive then you see a dr, that's the only way to be sure.

Buy a test.
