The stadium seems to look good. But is it worth £757million? with a possibility of it costing a further £352m in compensation.
The original Wembley cost £700,000 and only took 300days to complete in 1923.
This Wembley took 2,352 days to complete and isn't yet fully up and running.
Will it be worth it?

looks good, but like the extended time and excess money it's cost to build, it looks like you'll need to extend your overdraft before you can buy any refreshments in there.......£9.00 for fish and chips, £3.50 for a beer!!!!!

From all accounts it is spectacular. The old ground had too many areas where it was not possible to have a good view. I have been to the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff which is brilliant. They reckon the new Wembley is better. If that is the case then it must be awesome. The cost and delays will soon be forgotten. It is a pity it is stuck in London. It should have been built in the Midlands to make it more accessible to the whole country.

The money spent will be forgotten once the stadium is up and running. It looks awesome but the prices seem to be steep and it has taken a long, long time to get right. The Man U - Chelsea cup final will be a great game to see there!!

At least it will be used. I do not suppose any venture comes without hic-cups. If we are talking about a waste of money, what about the Millennium Dome, OK I know its now been taken over and Concerts are due to be held there, BUT, that does not alter the fact for years it`s been a waste of space. Well that`s my opinion anyway.

Can't believe what it cost! and just try extrapolating the interest costs divided by the seat numbers, never mind recovering the capital cost and compare it with Arsenal's stadium. What the ticket prices will be is frightening.
