Some people like to wait until they get about 12 weeks or so, when the chances of miscarriage are alot less.
Others, like me, get so excited they tell everyone right away. =)
It's just a personal preference. Good luck and Congrats!

really it is up to you. If you wanted you could start to tell people as soon as you find out. Some people like to wait til after their first drs appt to confirm it and to make sure things are ok while others like to wait even longer until they get into their second trimester at 12 weeks. There is no right or wrong time, it's a personal choice.

I would tell the people very close to me. Ask me three children ago and i would say shout to the world.
But i recently lost my precious fourth baby and some how felt like i should wait three months. I lost her at five months
Congrats on your baby. you are very blessed. enjoy your pregancy. have fun and take plenty of pictures you will treasure these moments.
yes i can have more children but every child is a blessing.
not trying to give you a depressing answer just wanted to say enjoy the whole thing. children are amazing.

You may start telling people when you fell like its right. With my daughter I was so excited that I told everyone right away, I couldn't wait to tell people. With my son, I told my closest friends and family and I waited until I started showing, which was about 10 weeks, before telling anyone else.

Some wait until 12 weeks, I'm 10 weeks and am getting bigger and bigger than I can remember with my first 3! So I will start to tell people this week (close family and friends).

You start to tell people usually when you are three months pregnant. In the beginning there is a chance of miscarriage, so usually people wait until they are three months (12 weeks) pregnant to tell people.

A lot of women wait until they are at least 12 weeks along to start telling because the risk of miscarriage drops then. But you can tell people very close to you sooner if you want, it's all up to you.

Well, if you are going to tell one person right away, you better tell everyone at the same time because some people will feel like they weren't important enough to let know right away. I called most of my family as soon as I found out, but one aunt and uncle didn't get called till two days later, and news travels fast. They thought they weren't importnant enough for me to call them right away like everyone else. I'd say as soon as you know for sure, let people know.

it depends on you.. the first trimester is usually the riskiest and when you have the highest change to miscarry. if the father is involved i would also consult with him. I would tell those that you are closest to! Good Luck!!

Well, there's no golden rule for this. If you want to share this joyous news with your friends and loved ones, then don't hold it in. It's all about when you feel it is right, so go with your gut feeling.
