If the universe is everything, then anything we consider 'outside' the universe is simply something we personally think of as 'outside'.

I think that if something is 'outside' the universe, we are really saying 'it' is 'outside OUR universe' but still 'inside THE universe'.

The difference being the definition of 'universe'. To me, the more we understand the universe, the more the meaning behind the universe. No matter how many containers we come up with, they only expand the definition of the word universe - the definition of 'everything'.

No matter how big you think the universe is, its bigger - no matter how big you think it is, its more awe inspiring still, regardless of religion, science, whatever. No matter small we by extension become - so matter how insignificant you think you are, life becomes more a miracle and more humbling, our individual positions become more important, regardless of religion, science, whatever.

Yeah, that is strange! Like what if there's another world like ours somewhere in another galaxy? And it's also weird to imagine that there's just nothing in the universe. It's just stars and desolate planets. Imagine if there was just "nothing", no stars, no planets, no life, no nothing. What if everything was just pitch black? Or maybe it'd be like in cartoons and it'd just be all white. Weird, right?

I posted to your original question. But there really is no "outside" to the universe, like the way we think of being "outside" your house.

It's hard to say what's "outside" the universe - we could only speculate. But I believe in the theory of "dark matter". Maybe things are there, but we just don't see them.

It is everything, and it is nothing. It is made of nothing, but it contains everything. We are so insignificant. There is no 'outside' of the universe. Nothing is bigger than 'it'. It just is and will always be.
