i'm sure you won't care much for my answer, but it seems to me that anymore film makers are practically required to include at least one black cast member, lest they be accused of being racists. so unless having a black character would be completely historically inaccurate, there's always at least one. and oftentimes it is a minor character, one who gets killed off fairly early on in the story. however, there are plenty of action movies in which main characters, who don't die, are black. look at the bad boys movies. also, the "xxx" films, with vin diesel and then ice cube; the chronicles of riddick and pitch black; the fast and furious movies--and i'm sure many others, too, though i'm not going to spend anymore time thinking them up.
