I have XBOX Live with a modem connection atm. i have dish internet. IT LAGS LIKE CRAZY. especially on Halo 2 if i get a router, will it stop the lagging?
BTW, if the router will help, give me your gamertag if you play Halo 2, PGR 3, NFSMW, or GRAW. ill get a router and add ya

Firstly, is there anything else connected to your modem at the same time as you playing on LIVE? If so, remove it and the lag will go.
Secondly, increase your download speed. 2mb broadband is sufficient.

yo i have dish internet. 2 and i cant even play halo it takes 1 hour to lowed 1 game .there is nothing u can do unless u get some thing that is not dish or huge net.(cable,DSL)

I never get any lag exept on americas army (cause that game blows)
your internet is your problem...get cable or DSL.
