Gender is socially constructed. The male sex has the most control currently over resources, power, and political power. That is why there is still a great deal of oppression towards females going on.

I wonder about that "strong man strong woman" thing. What, then, is behind every strong woman? A strong father? A strong mother? What? It seems to me to be just another propaganda item to include and "empower" women.
Women have a lot of behind the scenes power, but men generally "control" more things (and businesses, and countries).

I think it depends on What Country your're in. For Example: If u live in America then its actually pretty equal. But If u live in poorer countrys like africa or afghanistan then its men.
