Eragon and Eldest, both by Christopher Paolini were great books. They kept my attention every page and every chapter - but it wasn't rushed; as if every minute something happened. The details were all there, so I could picture everything that was happening; and you become connected with characters so that when they die, you feel the emotions rushing through you. The books were also funny, logical, and included my favourites: fantasy and adventure.

best novel i ever read was 1984 by George Orwell. If you havn't read it, please do! Its the most interesting book i have ever read, yet scary at the same time! The way it just pinpoints everybodys fears and puts them into words is amazing. The best thing about it is how it could so easily be true, its basiclly nazi germany to the extreme, george orwell really captured that. I would really reccomend it to anyone that hasnt read it before!

"From the Corner of His Eye" by Dean Koontz!! The story line was very intense and a VERY good read. Once I started it I could not put it down and read the entire book in a day...not an easy feat with 3 kids.

Faerie Wars, King Fortis the Brave, Eragon, Here There Be Dragons are all good books to read! If I had to pick just one, I think it would be King Fortis

"The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini. This book is moving in so many ways it is hard to put into words. The story breaks your heart and keeps the reader fully engaged as you travel full circle with him. It is definitely a must read, I gave my copy to a friend and urged him to pass it along when he was done. Interestingly enough, a friend in Nantucket told me it was part of their "One Book One Island" program.

Anyway "The Kite Runner" is a fabulous book. It was impossible for me to put down. I laughed, I cried, it moved me.

"To Kill A Mockingbird" and "The Secret Life of Bees"; these are the only two novels that made me want to read them over again after I finished.
