AS JUST MENTIONED IN MY PREVIOUS ANSWER ,same thing applies here,
looks like ur trying to know the relationship between nutrition(we've 5 imp nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins fats, vitamins and minerals) and biosynthesis.

Normally when we eat food it gives us energy from carbohydrates(immediate source) and fats (storage form of energy),though proteins(made up of amino acids) can give energy their main function is to take care of growth and maintenance.Vitamins and minerals help in matabolic reactions they act mainly as co enzymes and cofactors so these nutrients give us energy.

When carbohydrates(mainly starch) are digetsed as they are complex yield simple units called glucose. and fats give fatty acids and glycerol.

Glucose by process of glycolysis, krebs cycle and electron trainsport chain give energy in the form of ATP.

But when food is not available of during fasting or starvation non glucose compounds like pyruvate, lactate, glycerol, and amino acids (primarily alanine and glutamine) they yield glucose which gives energy to the body.this process is called gluconeogenesis. All these compounds contain carbon in them ,may be whole structure(lactate, pyruvate) or a part of structure(of amino acids) can be used in the synthesis of glucose which is called as carbon skeleton. Here gluconeogensis is a type of biosynthesis(synthesised in inside the body)

The vast majority of gluconeogenesis takes place in the liver and, to a smaller extent, in the cortex of kidney. This process occurs during periods of fasting, starvation, or intense exercise.

let me know if you've any questions.
