Is 'Heroes' going to be a one time only deal? They keep saying "get ready for the final chapters" and "watch the heroes save the world". So, is this a one season phenomenon? If not, how could it POSSIBLY get any better?

I think the whole final chapters thing is because they have a different set up for the show. Instead of taking one big break in the middle of the season, they break the show into 'pods' with a five week break in between. Each pod is like six or so episodes and they set the wheels in motion, but also answer questions (Pete DID dave Claire during pod one, finding out who Linderman is and HRG being exposed during pod two). Pod three will be saving New York and setting up for the second season.
I think that next season will have a supervillian and may-be they will cement some kind of force to deal with Linderman.

The finale of this season is gonna be real good. Sylar vs Peter, I bet they will leave it on a big cliffhanger.
Once they save the world surely we will see more adventures from the Heroes, and maybe see how the characters evolve and get involved with each others lives, But who knows with Heroes, anything can happen.

I think that after they "save the world" they might be able to delve more into who the characters are, how they got that way, etc. But there will always be something new that they will have to ban together to fight against. I hope it continues on without being lame, because so far it's a really good show!

It has been picked up for a second season so I would say they will keep us on the edge of our seats.

they do keep adding new Heroes ocassionally to keep it interesting.

I think it will end with a bang......I do not see it being an on going program.
