Somebody drove into my toyota pickup, hitting just behind the drivers wheel but not the door. Because of the kink in the panel (side panel) I can't open the drivers door, and the mud protector (?) is bent as well.

Anyone know how much/how long this would take to beat out/spray paint if necessary? They other guy was at fault, so he will pay for it, but I'm just curious b/c I cannot afford to be out of a car for long.

I'm in Africa on research. I guess I'm looking for a timeframe mainly! Thanks!

As long as the panel is not damaged beyond repair I would say a body shop will easily be able to turn it round in two days.

Remember to get a number of estimates for you will find they will differ quite considerably. If you are living within a reasonable distance of Llanfairfechan in the county of Conwy, North Wales then I would happily recommend Nigel's, Body Repairs, for he does a fantastic job at a very reasonable cost.

i would suggest obtaining an estimated from a specialist firm as what you describe is not minor damage. the quarter pannels proberly not accessable from behind. to get a dolly in there to straighten out.
