Are HPCompaq Computers the same does the HP line & Compaq line of computers use the same hardware, etc does anything differ from them except the designs

Same computers same inside anyway some software is different but all in all same computers and support services

They are pretty much the same since the buyout- there are even some notebooks that are IDENTICAL in every repsect except one is model is branded HP and the other, Compaq.

they are pretty much the same thing. they are the same company selling under two names. At some point compaq will no longer exist.
