Anything by AC/DC rocks. It was once said, that if an alien came down from out of space and asked what "rock" was, the answer would be to take them to an AC/DC concert.

Other bands that rock include:

1. Rolling Stones (Early Stuff) "Honkey Talk Woman"
2. Led Zeppelin "Living Loving Maid"
3. The Who "Pinball Wizard"
4. Van Halen (until Sammy left) "Everybody Wants Some"

Hair Bands that rock:

1. Cinderella "Gypsy Road"
2. Tesla "Gettin' Better"
3. Poison "Nothing But a Good Time"
4. Motley Crue "Looks that Kill"
5. Guns-N-Roses "Paradise City"
6. LA Guns "Never Enough"
7. Faster Pussycat "Nonstop to Nowhere"

ROCK ON!!!

Rock is a broad spectrum. ACDC Rocks, but so do The Beatles. Try "For Those About To Rock" by ACDC and "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" by the Beatles. Or Loverboy "Everybody's Working For The Weekend". For Great instrumental rock, try Joe Satriani, "Surfing With The Alien"

Rock On Dude!

If you want straight up rock then any song by AC-DC is good. Thats all they do is rock. No sappy love songs or power ballads, No pop or glam , just straight up rock n roll. I like the older stuff the best , when The late Bon Scott was their lead singer but the Stuff with Brian Johnson is good too.

1. TNT
2.Whole Lotta Rosie
3.A Long Way To The Top
4.Live Wire
5.Back In Black
6.Thunderstruck
7.You Shook Me All Night Long
8.Stiff Upper Lip

..........just to name a few.

Their music is so simple that they don't get a lot of respect from the music critics, but Eddie Van Halen once said that Angus Young ( lead guitar for ac-dc ) is one of the best guitarist he ever heard. I would say that says it all.
