when i was pregnant with my daughter i put on 5 stone because i ate everything bad for me, when i was pregnant with my son i still ate everything but i was the same weight after i had him because the food i ate was all healthy food, if you eat healthy and walk and swim alot you can eat as much as u want. xx

About 200-300 calories extra per day if you started out in the healthy weight range.

you really only need an extra 200-300 calories a day if you are at a healthy weight for your baby. Obviously if you are under weight you will need more or the opposite if you are over weight. At least this is what my dr told me but talk it over with your dr just to be sure.

Well current UK guidelines say you dont need any extra calories until the third trimester, and then only an extra 300 a day.
So no eating for 2 then!

normal coalories until last few weeks my midwofe who i had wth my daughhter said eat and extra 300 cal in last 6 weeks and more whole breastfeeding obv
