I have an object that I need help identifying, and I wanted to post a picture but I'm not sure how. Can some one give me some suggestions keeping in mind that I am stupid and an old man ,so please keep it as simple as possible ;-)

you have to find a photo host website, like photobucket.com and open a free account with them. then you can download your pics on their site and they will feature links to your pics.
you can then post those links anywhere and people can look at your pics

As said above: http://photobucket.com is a popular option.
Make an account, upload your photos and they will give you a link that you can post where ever you need. People can then go look at your photos.
