The US has unfortunately projected an image of imperialistic meddling in other countries’ affairs, putting corporate interests ahead of that of the people in other countries as well as hypocrisy in allegedly fostering human rights worldwide.
Some of the criticism of the US is unjustified because we get little or no credit for a lot of the good that we have done and have tried to do. The Bush administration’s foreign policy actions have only served to focus and heighten the negative perceptions. Anti-American propaganda has been enhanced by Bush’s actions. We need to accentuate the positive and refrain from engaging in harmful activities in foreign countries. We can gain the respect worldwide that we should have as a powerful democratic leader through our future policies and actions.

Most of the world has always resented The United States of America.
They all had claims yet none could make it work, lost to Americans. Americans then brought the world a true working democracy - something that had never been done before.
And in less that 200 years becamse the most successful, rich and powerful country in the world.
They are green with envy and jealousy! But they love Americans themselves (for the most part) they love our culture - the music, the entertainment, etc. and their kindness. Americans are the most generous people on the planet.
In as far as the 9/11, people didn't like us any better, many were happy, some didn't care and a very, very few were genuinely sorry or sympathetic with us. So those who think we "blew" WHATEVER after 9/11 liked being a victim.....they are good at that! They are victims for just about everything in life.
These are called liberals........

Where do you feel the pulse on a world or a planet? Is a volcano eruption a burp or a f--t from planet Earth?
Whoever hates us, in your eyes, is the question.
People hate people. Radicals from all sides and directions can jump up and riot or march against anything they want.
Our lifestyle is the major problem that people have with this country. We have what they want and all the aid money in the world won't change their countries to one like ours. They have been brainwashed that their life sucks because of us. Their problems are all our fault.
The American people can't understand a religion or sect that doesn't like how we live, even though that is why our early settlers came here, in the first place. We are now a melting pot of people from all over the world. Religions, races, political beliefs; you name it, we have it. We can't understand a country that is one religion or, even, one tribe. If they hate us so much, why do they want to come here? When they are sent here to go to our universities to study, why do most not go back home? How miserable are those that do go back?
They hate us for what we have made of ourselves and they are jealous to that point of hatred.
Go to a riot and offer them a chance to go to our country - no more riot! Except to get in line.
They don't hate us - they are just not here, they are there!

For an instance, you would agree with me that every where around the world the,a police man is meant to be a thief catcher, but it's too unfortunate that to say that most policemen in most countries commit most of the crimes they are aiming to solve. All in all, people hate those who don't practice what they preach.I have met a lot of American men and women in my life.I have always jugded them to be honest individuals. But the way their government seem to manouver and manupulate opportuntied to the detriment of less previledged nations is in total contrast to what i observe about American citizen i have met.So let government live by pratical example rather than precepts!

It never fails.........when a no-body makes a success, give her credit that she so honestly deserves, along comes the 'Spider ' and tries to make it look like it wasn't anything at all. The Bible says that just before the " End Time ", or Tribulation, all will either be for Jesus Christ or against Him; sounds kinda like what's slowly happening in all society's around the world, even in Countries that Hate us for what we believe. Keep the Faith ! God Bless America !!

Alot of it is because they dont understand us, they we are a young country that they view as rich, greedy, rude etc. Unfortunatley they dont know the people of America and they never will because they have to much hate instilled in them from an early age, this is sad. The people of the world only see Large American coorporations, rude tourists, and of course the American Gov't (no comment)

You are dead wrong, the opposite is true, the majority of the earth's people look up to the USA as a model for themselves.
Freedom is contagious, once experienced it is hard to push away from it. That's why free people fight so hard to protect themselves,..they don't want to give up their freedom.
Someone has been telling you a lot of crap and apparently you are believing it

all the atrocities you point out are carry-overs from our British roots. It takes a mutually as to weed out all the damaging components of the rustic you forged off to be loose. maximum young ones study they are an echo of their mothers and dads. comparable with our united states of america. by how, the British have been given them the two at as quickly as or circuitously from the Islamofascist regimes they traded with. those comparable regimes nevertheless prepare all those terrible acts to this very day. you're precise approximately Europe having no room to communicate. quite, it replaced into ecu atrocities which led us to start this united states of america in the 1st place, to get faraway from them and be loose to stay and pray as we chosen, no longer as some fat guy on a great chair with a humorous yellow metallic hat on the different area of fairly some water advised us to do. Even the continuation of slavery got here from an unwell-conceived compromise in the form, one that maximum Northern delegates fought against. It replaced into seen because of the fact the only attainable way, different than forcibly liberating the slaves and arming them, to maintain the British from keeping a colonial beachhead precise next to our fledgling united states of america. We later paid with the lives of six hundred,000 infantrymen and endless civilians for this atrocity, yet that bloodshed ended that evil commerce, or a minimum of its legality.. Why are we attacked continuously? Envy. No different united states of america in the international has the poorest of the undesirable possessing residences, automobiles, telephones, computers, cellular telephones, weapons, animals, televisions, books, home equipment, and so on, and so on . . . No different united states of america in the international has ever enjoyed this sort of great-spectrum distribution of wealth. the closest could be Canada and Australia, with whom we share plenty in undemanding. different countries hate us for that, because of the fact mutually as their hundreds of years of cultural existence have yielded the comparable status quo technology after technology, a pauper right here has extra suitable than a midsection classification provider provider of their countries, and this got here to bypass in below one hundred years and has persisted when you consider that. it might have persisted on had our legislators no longer began turning to the guidelines of alternative countries for authority whilst our very own rules does not enable them to do what they needed. regrettably, our days are numbered, The longer Ubama continues to be in place of work, the shorter the style.

OH MY GOD!! WE are such f'ing bastards for IMPOSING FREEDOM on people ruled by TYRANTS!
Well damn! I believe ya'll other assholes should kiss where I can't! Next time another Hitler or Stalin shows up, or one of you other countries need a damned loan, go ask someone else, and when you get left hi and dry, don't ask the U.S. for help.
Just gouge out your eyes and skull f**k yourselves.
Sorry, but I don't see us "ruling" France, Germany, Britain or any other countries that we have helped in the past.
I do seem to recall using some property in France and other countries to bury some of our dead. Seems as tho we never got paid back for the war loans during WWII to some of our allies at the time.
Yeah....what f'ing bastards we are....I'm surprised I didn't see it much sooner.
Please enjoy your next natural disaster, dictator, or terrorist attack. Hope it works out for you.
Last time I checked, people were literally DYING to get in this country. Wonder why?
F**K you, I'm from Texas.
Feel free to tell me to go to hell, because I no longer care.
