I loved it but the end me heart sick.

I did see "Road to Terebithia" but thought it was a 'totally beautiful movie' ... it wasn't a 'fantasy' though, as the 'trailers' had led me to believe ... it was about the 'reality' of the boy's life, and how his 'friend' who was killed 'changed it' ... and how when after the girl died, he wanted to 'give the fantasy' to his younger sister so he built the 'Bridge' to the 'fantasy world' that he and his 'friend' had 'built' inside their heads. It didn't make me 'heart sick' but it did make me 'cry' ... in a 'happy' way, because I 'identified' with the boy as a 'writer' as I am, and knew that this 'story' was his story (the writer's story') in many ways ... all VERY GOOD WAYS, since most of us don't just 'have' good fantasies but are 'helped to imagine' them in some way.

I haven't seen Bridge to Terabithia but I want to. I read the book way back in elementary school and loved it. Especially when the boy (can't remember his name) stands up for Leslie when the teacher gives them a homework assignment to watch TV and she says she doesn't have one. The ending is kind of a bummer though... depressing. Can't wait to go out and rent the movie!

I have not seen the movie, but the book is very good. It definitely does not have a feel good ending.

ummmmm... i believe the name of the movie is Bridge to tarabitia .... it is OK like 7 out of 10...
