all and sundry gets excited while an "good" profile asks a question. And it happens to no longer be *any* good -- that's the guy who's supposedly THE Yahoo! solutions guy! (Or gal notwithstanding lol) They get a marvelous type of solutions because of the fact they're additionally featured on the front internet site of Y!A -- everytime somebody logs into Y!A, they're directly taken to the front internet site and in the event that they're paying interest to that cream coloured field, the Yamster's question pops up. It gets greater interest being on the front internet site, greater people are waiting to view it, so greater people are prepared to respond to it. you're correct -- if the priority-loose Joe have been to ask this question, it would have died an hour (on the main) after having been published. yet being on the front internet site, being an "good" profile, having a marvelous type of stars (consequently Contacts of persons who starred it are additionally shown the question)... all provides as much as hundreds of solutions and hundreds of stars! Is it honest? Eh, no longer likely. yet so what, that is in basic terms Y!A lol

Hmm..I just think that stars are for interesting questions, not because someone's asking you to do it. It's wrong in the sense of what stars are for, but not like morally wrong =p

I don't believe in asking people for stars. If a person feels like starring your question they will. If they don't then they won't. So yes I agree with you it's wrong to ask for stars. It's also kind of egotistical, and narcissistic. Peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's your star... shameless isn't it?

No, honey, it's not wrong... you may ask if you want to... there are no points involved, doesn't affect your levels or anything.. just an interesting question indicator... and about as silly as they come too.

The more people who ask for it... the better I say.

If people are asking for stars, it's because they want stars, give them stars, and answer if you want.

if i'm reading what you MEAN, i'd say it's probably mostly kids that do that. they're used to getting stars on their school papers and like the recognition on their questions, i reckon. not really anything bad about it, i guess.
