Water turtles in captivity will live 20-30 years with good care, whether by themselves or in groups.
Sadly, there is a lot of misinformation about caring for turtles out there and it often results in their death after only a few months.

I have a red ear slider. They should live for atleast 30 years or more. Not 100% possitive. The guy said over 20 years or something like that.

25-30 years and no they will not live longer if there is 2. It will shorten their live because of fighting and stress.

My sister has a turtle named "Tex", and he is...hold on...how old is her oldest boy...Tex is 20 years old.
Just a regular ol' box turtle, he's not huge or anything.
