My mother wanted to call me Charmaine, but my dad was not a very good speller, so he named me Kim. Which I hate!!!!!

My older sister. My mom and dad put 4 names that they really liked into a hat and let my older sister pick one out and went with it.

My dad named me and my siblings and we ended up with quite unique names. My brother often laments because his name is always either mispelled or mispronounced due to its uniqueness.

She thought that I was going to be a boy, so originally my name was Michael, until I came out...... then it became Michelle! :-)

My grandma came up with my name because my parents couldn't think of anything.
