psych. clowns smoke up a sac of reality. he will never unless he carries team on his shoulders to win. next year if they get kg.or kidd then it wont be kobe. these guys are team players. they look to help the team first. people say early in jordans years he was a bull hog. he def changed. i dont think kobe ever could. he is to in love with himself. he thinks he is gods gift to the earth and we should worship him. give me a break. everytime he makes a shot he gets a look on his face. like he is the greatest to ever play. kobe is garbage. good basketball players are guy who can do more then score. wade, lebron, nash, kg, marion ,amare, dirk . i put kobe in the same league i put marbury, vince, terrel owens. all guys who think they are the best to ever play. and kobe might be the worst

I think Kobe is the best scorer in the league: he can be dominating, but not as dominating as Jordan was. I've never seen a player take over a game like Jordan could. Jordan was also an excellent defender, where Kobe looks a little out of his element on defense. As for success, Jordan had a good all-around team around him, but never had a dominant guy in the middle like Shaq. Shaq did as much to win the championships as Kobe did, IMO. Kobe's not the best all-around player in the league either. I think Wade's a better mix of scoring/passing, and LeBron is more explosive. And yes, Kobe is STILL a ball-hog, which is no way to try to win a championship. I think in a one-on-one game, LeBron would school him. I'd love to see that!

He will be remembered as one of the greatest players to ever play once he retires. It will be like all players, people dont appreciate them until they are done. And I dont see how you can make an arguement about Kobe not leading his team to a championship, and then say that LeBron, Nash, KG, Marion, Amare, and Dirk are great players, and they havent won ANYTHING. Kobe has rings, and was the best player on those Laker championship teams.

I agree with some of your points, but I wouldn't put Kobe in their league. Kobe doesn't make his team worse as I feel the others do. It would definitely take a huge run through the playoffs on his own without a Kidd or Garnett to earn him the true unbridled respect of NBA fans, but at present moment, many feel that he's the most talented in the league and he, at the very least, makes a case for it.

What you suggested is genuine.. Kobe is a huge participant. final 300 and sixty 5 days he have been given the MVP award, so i do no longer see how he's not getting credit. additionally it in all possibility is genuine that final 300 and sixty 5 days the lakers does not have made the finals without procuring Pau Gasol.

how in the world do you compare him to Lebron (custom made fades when its clutch time) KG (no guts , never get a sniff when it counts) Marion (who had a career far under radar before Nash, and could NEVER lead a team to a successful season himself) , now I dont think Kobe is the greatest...but to list who you did shows you are some johnny come lately bandwagon fan...

He doesn't deserve any credit. He is a selfish piece of crap and is getting what he deserves. The biggest mistake he made was to think he could do it without Shaq. Shaq has another ring and is carrying the Heat toward another run.

He gets exactly what he deserves, no more, no less. He's brought everything on himself, so I don't know why Laker fans are always saying he gets a raw deal.
