Or should I wait till her last book has been out for a while before I introduce mine. My series is about a magic school but different than Harry's. It's also got a very different story line then the one of Voldamort. It's very different but has it's suttle similarities as well. I think it will be the next big thing, if I can only find someone to publish it.

I'm not trying to be arrogant at all. I've worked on this book for 2 years at night after my kids have gone to bed and I really think it's great. I'm proud of what I've been able to accomplish. I'm only looking for the publics view on the subject, not personal slams thank you very much. And if you're not a Harry Potter fan, please don't give me your opinion. It may sound like a crazy question to you but it is a serious question to me.

just kidding!!! u believe in urelf and leave the rest with the readers.. who knows u might surprise urself..

i say go for it because there are so many people who are into harry potter that if you release a similar but different series it will be a big seller just dont try to be a knockoff
