Just try and convince me why I NEED a cell phone!!!
1) It's outrageous having to pay $30 a MONTH for convenience!!!
2) I make my plans in advance, so there should be NO misunderstandings WHATSOEVER!
3) I have instant messenger, so people can message me when I'm not here and I'll see it LATER!
4) Our family has a plan for our home phone, where we can call anybody in AMERICA for $30 a month, which is convenient enough.
5) Studies show talking on cell phones link to brain cancer.
6) They're ANNOYING!
7) They're almost NEVER used for emergencies!
And yes, I'm a teen... Serious! Almost 16 too and about to be driving on my own and I don't want my parents to be calling me every hour asking where I am!

OK, if I had a cell phone, I'd have to use the money I earn to pay the monthly bills and everyone thinks I should have one b/c I'm more responsible than most people.

All my friends want me to get one, but then I'd be getting calls all day and that'd be annoying...

I totally agree with you. I hate mobile phones. They annoy me too. I mean people are on them everywhere you go and hold up lines in supermarkets, bank and further more people really annoy me when they are on them while driving cars.

Cell Phones are coll man, you dont have to use it as a phone if you don't want pay any money. you can use the Camera & Sms will help you alot & you can save your songs on it and and, there is many thigs you can do with the cell phone

I never had one til my daughter was born, and yes just for emergencies. Been stuck on the highway a few times.
Got a bare bones plan of 150 minutes and I have a year to use 'em. By the end of the year I'll probably have 135 left!

Well, I am not a teen, but am an adult, I don't want or have one either. If there is an emergency, there is a good chance that someone around you will have one. I don't CARE if people can reach me. And as far as using it while driving, there are enough distractions already.

biggest reason is emergency,stranded in your car,no-one around,winter out,car wont start,it comes in handy. Also being a parent(which I know your not)is another reason for me,I'm out and my child is sick or hurt,well,this way I can be reached. OH and they do NOT cause brain cancer,there has been no proof of that!! But hey,your parents save money,thats a plus..

honestly. I hate them and swear i visit under no circumstances personal one. i bump into it pretty impolite when you're continuously on their telephone or texting others even as in a social situation. I definitely don't have any difficulty telling those who they are impolite and with out manners. I definitely were invited out with assistance from associates and then they spend the completed time on their stupid telephone, i have left the placement. when I requested why i replaced into leaving I tell the actuality: "i did not come out with you to hearken to you communicate and textual content individuals the entire time. once you definitely opt to visit with me enable me be conscious of. once you are able to take care of to reveal off your telephone call me from a land line and probably we can attempt this again." people get it, yet attempt to be blunt, no elementary experience lately.

I was excited when I got a cell phone, but it's like bleh because I don't even use it. I think it's cool if you don't freak out because you don't have a cell phone. They're not THAT great =)

I didn't want one, but my home phone runs out of power because everyone forgets to hang it on the charger.

i agree with you kid. i'm 39 and i don't want one. it's hard enough ignoring the regualr phone. i can't be bothered with a cell.
