It depends on the glasses. If you choose a style that reflects your own style, it shouldn't matter. If you choose a pair from the Elton John collection, well, you have to accept the consequences.

I wear glasses and don't really think it affects my impression on others. Most people respond more to my personality than what I have on.

Good question. I recently had an eye infection and had to stop wearing contacts for a few weeks. My best friend and her husband who know me very well couldn't stop staring at me in my wire frame glasses. The security guard at work didn't recognize me at all, with such a simple change to my face. My friends grandchildren had no problem with it, and unlike the adults, didn't stare at me or make a fuss.

Honesty it only affects your impresion if you let it. Glasses can either be a part of you, or somthing forign attached to your head. Just ignore them and act natural. Once your past grade school and somtimes high school people no longer truly make judgments based on glasses.

well, for me i hate wearing my glasses so i have never worn them out in public, however everyone who wears glasses look really good to me because i just love the look of them on other people.

Well, it depends on what your glasses look like. I have black framed glasses, and they look pretty good on me. But other glasses would look really weird on me. It all depends on what they look like. But when I see people with glasses, its normal. Its like thats a part of their body.

Have confidence in yourself. You can look like a model and if people want to take the pee they will. Life's too short to worry about such things.

i don't really think about it all too much because they don't really do anything to affect my impression on ppl. (but i have heard ppl say i look better without them on.)
