She has waited too long to have an abortion. They won't do them after twelve weeks. I'd suggest adoption--take her to meet with someone and let her make her decision from there. If she has a disability, then I'd really try to encourage her to give her baby up to a family that can take care of it and offer it whatever she can't. It doesn't mean that she can't be a part of the baby's life--adoptions are open nowadays, meaning that the birth parents can be as involved as they want to be. Just so long as they put that in writing and get the adoptive parents to sign off on it, your niece can go play with the baby and be completely involved (aunt sort of role) and not have the financial or emotional burden. Good luck!

Four months seems to be a bit late. Basic structures have pretty much been formed. Unless it really cannot be helped, I suggest continuing with the pregnancy and just have the baby adopted. I'm sure someone out there will be willing to take the baby in once it is born.

What kind of learning disability does your niece have anyway?

When u have are 3 months and over it is a great chance of u loosing ur life in the process of abortion. I think that she should keep it and with the help of u and her family she is going to make it through this pregnancy. Maybe the father might change his attitude after the baby is born. I would knoiw, because i was in the same position once and now the father of my daughter pays more attention to her than i do. She is his everything.

All I can suggest is that you put the baby up for adoption when it is born if she really doesnt want it. Is there no one who can help to support her with this baby as it seems ashame for her to have gone through this so far only to be discurraged by her boyfriend and now she is going to throw it all away.

I hope you come to a sensible conclusion for her.

I definitley would go with the majority here and say adoption. you think having a baby too young is rough, try having an abortion and dealing with teh emotional trauma the rest of your life. You can get past the parenting- but it's hard to heal those emotional scars.

This is not ment to be interpreted in a mean way:

It's not the baby's fault it's dad and mom don't want anything to do with it. I would say adoption would be the best choice. But anything she chooses support her.

it's not too late for an abortion, but abortion is murder. She's just scared, there are hundreds of single moms and they do it every day. Why not be there for her and support her. Once she's had the baby and she still doesn't want it give it upp for adoption, there are also hundreds of people who want kids that can't have them.

If you really want to help her I suggest looking into adoption. It isn't too late for an adortion, but think about how many women out there want to have a baby and can't. She could really make someone very happy by giving her child up for adoption.

Good luck.

The best way is to place the baby for adoption ... there are so many childless couples waiting to be blessed. One who are easily blessed with this miracle of nature shouldn't think of destroying it. Anyways its just five more months and then she can be free !!!
