I can see the point of the no brigade on here but I do think they are wrong.
I wore cute rather than conventional underwear from about 13 which is when I started to buy my own stuff. That was more than 13 years ago and thongs were no big thing then but nevertheless the underwear I wore made me feel good. I enjoy the feel of different materials like silk and satin and I do not see why teenage girls today should not experiment. Sometimes I went for traditional cotton knickers as they are comfortable but they do not make me feel as good or confident when out.
I don't have a daughter but if I did I would not stop her when she became old and confident to take her own decisions on preferred underwear.
Girls who wear it for the wrong reasons, i.e. to show off to one or multiple guys are stupid and need to be put right.However, for them self they need to be encouraged and supported to experiment -if not on school days at least on weekends.

I think its okay if they are at least 11 and need to wear them so they don't have panty lines in tight pants like hardtails or solows. Also not all thongs are uncomfortable and feel like wedgies. Hanky pankies are good if you have 18 dollars to spend on thongs.

All I can so is no way! That is nasty for girls to wear panties that mainly gives you a wedgie.Stick to some regular panties and not a thong,gross!

It depends - why do they want to wear the thong? If it's to impress people at school I would say no. If it's because they are wearing an something (like white pants) that they don't want an underwear line to show, I might consider it.

i can not think of any reason why they shouldn't...once a girl is old enough to decide what style of under garments, there is no reason she can't choose thongs
and, no, wearing thongs will NOT cause yeast infections...but wearing panti-hose CAN cause yeast infections

probably not. just because how many sixth graders do you know that wear thongs and think they are cool? usually around eight grade, girls start wearing them, but i think thats still kinda young. as long as they dont hang out of their pants, then i dont think it matters as long as they aren't too young.

No one should ever see your panties if you're that young, unless it's because your parents did your laundry for you!

yes, girls can wear thongs from about 12 years old if they are comfortable wearing them xx

i personally dont think so but if they do they should wear cotton-where the bottom/string is wide so it decreases the risk of infections.
