From my point of view and reading and rereading the books, you see that Harry and Hermione both like each other in the first few books and you all so see it in the movies. Harry then sees that Ron likes Hermione and he backs off and he gets with Ginny but really wants to be with Hermione and he ends it with Ginny with is good since in the end both Harry and Hermione will die together (family bet) or we will find out that Harry and Hermione are twins (other family bet). In real life I am happy to say from what I know and have been told Emma and Dan are really dating!!! :) I really do think that Harry and Hermione will get together in the last book.

From the time I read the first book, I always thought she and Harry would end up together. Not sure why, like a hunch that there was something there to come. Never have believed/cared much for the Ginny & Harry idea. Harry is the type that needs an equal and Hermione fits the bill. As for Hermione and Ron- that must have been a case of raging hormones and rose-colored classes. Just wasn't too super believable to me. Hermione is a talented wizard and a strong woman who also needs an equal. She and Harry are a great match in my opinion. I don't think it will happen, but would love it if it did!

I would like to see Hermione get more serious with Ron!
It's no fun if everything's about Harry, even though it is his story. :p

neither, Harry likes Cho Chang and if she were to be with Ron, then the story would be awkward
