The power tools that i use are RYOBI. The HSS drill bits and driver bits that i use are all different types/makes, never had a problem with them not being the same. Just remember that HSS and SDS bits are not the same and you can only use SDS bits in an SDS drill, they will not work in an HSS drill.

If your Ryobi drill is a hammer drill the chuck insert is patented to Ryobi itself and not compatible with other brand names.
However, if looking closely in stores you may find tips labeled as universal to many other brand names and Ryobi may be listed as one on the package.
If it is not a hammer drill then it should accept the standard tips common to all drill chucks. You can check this by looking at the inserted end of the tips that came with the Ryobi you bought. If they are smooth at the insert end they are common to all drills. If they are hex shaped on the inserted end then you can only use hex shaped tips. The owners manual also will indicate the proper tooling they recommend for that particular model...

Yes the bits can normally be used in any drill, only thing not compatable are the batteries

What you bought was a set of bits and drivers? Yes they are compatible with drills with a standard chuck.

they should be ok !!!!!!! the only thing to make sure of is that the drill they have is not for "HSS" bits only ??? its ok the other way around though
